JUST SICK...sick all in tonight..wow

OK.. this so unreal we had to take a picture of it tonight.

KK all in vs. AJ with three boards. KK loses EVERY ONE of them hahahaha. Quad jacks, Ace on the river and a wheel for good measure.

anyone care to calculate odds of this happening? I think its less than 3%

(the one king is cut off in the picture unfortunately)

Quite sick, but thats poker. Funny how some people who play for a living truly believe that it is "not gambling".

What's the another K suit? Can't calculate exactly without that suit.

Has to be Diamonds. King of Hearts is usually a suicide king with a knife sticking in the side of his head facing forward. As far as odds go preflop I don't think the suit of the red king really makes a difference because there is no way they share that suit since the jacks are both black.

I think the KK's are about a 79/21 favorite so the odds would be whatever that split happening 3 consecutive times would be. For that I don't know how to calculate it.

The answer might be .21 to the 3rd power. If that's the case it's .0926%, so just under 1% but I'm no probability wiz and I could be way off.

I suspect it's less than this for three boards from the same deck because after AJ wins the first board, it has fewer outs on the second board, and fewer still on the third board.

It's more like 70/30 than 80/20 on the first board (and 2nd and 3rd boards are less likely as jldecarlo mentioned), so yes certainly less than 3%.

Re: JUST SICK...sick all in tonight..wow

well whatever the odds were of that happening his place erupted with moans and groans. I was upstairs eating pizza with another guy and all I heard was chaos downstairs haha.

less chance of happening, this occurrence or the royal flush beating quad aces in the WSOP???

How do you play 3 borads? I'm not understading that. Are you running it 3 times? (run it twice)

Re: JUST SICK...sick all in tonight..wow

The three times is just like running it twice to split the pot. Three times is just more fun lol

I usually only do 1 board... Pure poker!
