Chips: 1,555 | | | Starting Time for 1st ChipTalk tourney? We've narrowed it down to Wednesday, May 4th or Thursday May 5th for the 1st ChipTalk NLHE $10+1 poker tourney on Stars.
Now the question is, what is the best starting time. Assuming that most of you are in North America - please respond to your preferred starting time for a weekday evening tourney.
Poll to stay open for 5 days. Starting times will be from 7pm-11pm Eastern (4pm-8pm Pacific). |

Chips: 1,555 | | | My preference is for 10pm Eastern (7pm Pacific) but can also go up to 1 hour earlier as I understand the East coasters don't want to have to stay up too late. So basically any of the 3 slots from 9pm Eastern to 10pm Eastern start times. |

Chips: 8,921 | | This is a great idea! I'll have to get me an account on Stars, as well as VirtualPC to run it on my mac. Sheesh. That's what I get for having a superior computer.
Is anyone on Pokerroom.com? |

Chips: 13,505 | | | I am definitely in on PokerStars, any $$ amount, 10pm Eastern or later preferred, but I'll miss the first one if its the first week of May. I am in after that week. Keep us posted.
As a related comment, I have to say that (with maybe one exception *yeltsincough*) this site is still much friendlier than 2+2. Lots of people on 2+2 and frequently lots of junk to wade through when you're searching for useful content. On here, no silly squabbles and arguments, flaming posts or negativity.
Look forward to playing with this group. |

Ten has told me he may be a bit busy this weekend setting up other things for the forum so he'll get the web page with the password set up as soon as he can.
In the meantime, if you are a registered member here and want the password early, just PM me here and I'll give you the password.
Hope to see many of you in the tournament! | Quote: |
