I was just in Vegas this past week. i played quite a bit at the Flamingo Hilton, Harrah's and Mirage Poker rooms. The Mirage is pretty decent place to play but would honestly rather play at my place over Harrahs or the Hilton. If I could just find a legal way to beat the system and rake the game one could make a small fortune. Kind of unbelivable some of the cardrooms in Vegas don't have nicer **** than I do. I have played several times at the Bellagio and Mirage and although they have decent tables and chairs, there chips are so old and worn.
Great set up for sure. I have a few questions.... Where did you get your table and chairs from?
And is that your chip case on the table in the corner? How many chips does it hold? Thanks.
I bought the tables from a company in California who only sells stuff to casinos. First, I had to practically beg the guy to sell them to me. Second, I agreed to buy several tables from him. Then, I also had to agree to a long wait as the manufacture was very busy selling tons of new tables to casinos with the "poker craze" right now. I have spent almost $8000 on the tables.
The chairs came from Classico Seating which makes chairs for restaraunts, casinos ect... I have 26 standard poker chairs and 2 dealers chairs. The chairs cost $150 and $185 respectivly. Here is a link to the chair manufacturer http://www.classicoseating.com/gaming/gaming.php
Thanks for the reply. I'm very interested in the chairs they look great.
What about the chip case? - I'm curious because I need one that holds 1000+ Thanks again for your help.
about that case: i've heard people say that you can get the same case at places like home depot, rona, walmart...whatever...similar, but don't be fooled. those cheaper cases are just that -- cheap. if you're looking at these style of cases, you're probably wanting it to hold 1000+ chips. the handles on the cheaper cases just support that weight...it really feels like it's going to rip off at any second. also, the dividers are not cut with any accuracy, so they are either a touch too long, or a touch too short, depending on your desired layout. even the case itself is so thin. you can feel it bending as you pick it up.
i should point out, i don't have the more expensive case, but i can vouch for the crappiness of the cheapie ones. they don't even have the cool rounded corners...
That particular case is a little more expensive than some you can buy but it works great for me. Hell I don't even carry my case around I just use it to store our chips. The nice thing about it is the dividers are already cut, foam in the top of the case and it comes with the correct size chip boxes. I have heard of several people talk about buying a case like this then purchasing chip boxes from 5star or other vendors that fit 26 chips per row. Mine fit exactly 25 chips per row. I think there a great investment if you ahve the need to carry 1000 chips plus accessories
