I'm about to host a "Casino Night" party in a few weeks, so I'm looking for ideas and suggestions on how to pull this off. It'll be a relatively small party; fifteen to twenty players max. Games are going to be craps, roulette, and blackjack.
Does anyone have a good-but-cheap roulette wheel they can recommend? I know I can pick up a cheap one at Wal-mart or Target, but I have a feeling these won't even spin very well. Should I go ahead and buy a top of the line plastic model like this? Discount Casino Gear - 18 inch Roulette Wheel
As for roulette chips go, I don't happen to have a good stash of casino paulson chips, so I considering super diamonds. They're solid and cheap. How many should I get for each color? I'm thinking around 150-200 per color since the payout can be as high as 35-1.
I'm ordering a layout and I plan to attach it to a folding table. I may build a backstop on one end to catch the dice. Is there anything else I need besides dice to make this work. On/off puck? Die stick?
Starting Chips / Table stakes:
How much should each guest be given, and what should the table minimums be relative to everyone's starting stacks? I'm planning to use my 1000pc CM Desert Palms set for most of the muscle. I have .05 - 5000 denoms. I figure as long as I color up everyone between games, there will be enough low denoms around to make it work. I have 175 5's as of now, but I know I need to order more to make it work.
Any input you guys have would be greatly appreciated!
