Local cash game, .50/$1 NLHE is played by 6 of us. Very Loose game many preflop raises to $5, with 2 or 3 callers. THis game changes to pot limit Omaha after about 4 hours. I'm sitting with aboout $200 in the small blind, I'm dealt Kh,Jh,9s,2s. It's called all around to the cut off position and he raises to $3, as per usual about 4 out of the 5 call including me (I've got position!). Flop comes 10,10,9... I'm not excited about my nine, or my gut straight draw. It's checked around. Turn brings another 9...hmmm, no one made a move on the flop, maybe my 9 is good...I could also catch my boat on the river if someone did have a lone 10... So I bet out $6 (bets might not be correct...it was about 2:30 am) to see if anyone sticks around. Two callers including the cutoff.... river comes...another 9

quads...now I'm whistling dixie... I bet $6 hoping the two others each have a ten pay to see the end. one folds and the cut off raises to $12.... I make it $30 to go after some pause ( I add in, I wonder whose kicker is bigger...feigning I've got a 10)...to my chagrin he announces reraise an additional $60. It's at this point I'm thinking...this isn't fair... I'm losing with quads and call his $60...saving my last $40...yep he shows his pocket 10's... ah well. Quads over quads...nice. Lost a decent $350ish pot....
The betting doesn't quite make sense, but it's almost 4am and I can't really remember how it went, I do remember not feeling very confident in my 9 until the river...then not so much when I was raised $60 more....
I still made all my money back and left with a decent profit , so not so bad...
I'm actually pretty happy about how I react to losing pots, I don't think I got upset once tonight... even though I was beat repatedly by the cut off guy...twice with quads...only once did I also have quads.
