Thats ridiculous. Having kids, I'd say no fkn way and I think he would know internally that is the right decision for both parties.

I agree with everyone else... NO WAY! Either find a babysitter, or don't play poker.. simple as that.

Round up a high chair, make sure he knows the rank of hands and that he watches his language. All is well!! Seriously, probably not a good idea.

Re: Guy Wants to Bring his 2-year-old Son

Upon further thought, I would follow up with this guy and say he really should spend time with his son while he has this chance...it's not that he's a bad dad, he justs wants to have both his boy with him and be with his poker buddies. He's being a typical guy that's all. Sometimes wanting to do both makes one a little less clear headed about the perceived implications or priorities.

Re: Guy Wants to Bring his 2-year-old Son

I'm glad to hear you said no. I assume you don't have kids around the same age as the one he asked to bring with. If you do that would be the ONLY rational thought as to why to bring his son along - so the kids ould play.

Re: Guy Wants to Bring his 2-year-old Son

Good to hear that you said no. How did he think that was going to work -- set the kid down somewhere, say "STAY!" and "BE QUIET!", and ignore him for eight hours? [Watch out for falling giant beer cans. Love it!]
