Anyone here bring chips home from Casino cash games?

Not too sure if this is the place to post this but just wondering if anyone here play a limit cash game and bring back chips they profited. I played at Cache Creek at their $3/6 tables with $60 to buy in I ended the night with $575. That's about a $515 profit. That's a lot of dollar chips as well. Before I hit the cage I was thinking you know, I should really keep a rack or 2. The chips do look sweet. I know it's circulated but I mean If I keep a rack or 2 I still can cash in on $300. I took a look at my Girlfriend by the rails who watched me play the entire time and thought DAMN I have to cash it all.

Here is a picture of the chip:

By the way no pocket jacks at all, so it was a good night!

Most of the chips at my local casino are so grimy, rounded, and just plain "over-circulated" that I wouldn't bother to bring any back with me. Those Cache Creek chips however, are beautiful and I openly scold you for not bringing a rack or two home to start a cash set!

I'd be tempted to grab a few racks of those cache creeks...those are sweet looking $1s! Congrats on a good session, regardless! Next time just grab a few racks...you can always bring them back!

I usually keep 25 $1 chips and one $5 for a mutt set I'm building (but only if they are clay).

Nice $1 chip BTW.

Re: Anyone here bring chips home from Casino cash games?

Does anyone here NOT bring chips home from a Casino when playing ring games?

As far as the girlfriend being there to watch you, that should be extra incentive to take the chips with you... Not cash them in. It says, "Yeah, I collect chips, get used to it. Besides they didn't cost me anything." While at the same time it says "I reserve the right to come back and play some more if I so choose."

If she is "The One" and she doesn't know about your chips or that you like to play poker on a frequent basis, that is goning to be a not so fun discussion. Even if she does know how much you play... she may have it in her agenda to change that.

If you turned $60 into $500+ at 3/6, you should have kept ALL of those chips. They were obviously your good luck charms!

Re: Anyone here bring chips home from Casino cash games?

Generally I have 20-25 Bellagio chips at home or in my car. I don't play with them at home but I use them for tipping at the casino.
