Does anyone know of a service like homepokertour.com that is free...

I used to love using homepokertour.com and told everyone about it but since they are now charging I cant really use them. I dont make any money from running my tournies otherwise I would love to use them for the monthly fee.

All I need is a place where I can email all my members about the tourney, upload results, and also send reminders to them as it gets close. Any other options out there?

Try Stats Geni. Our league used them for 2 years and never had a problem

PokerMax Poker League PHP Script - Run your own poker league and poker tournmants with PokerMax.
cant recall if it was free though.

homepokertourney.com might be able to offer up some.

checknraisepoker.com has a clock that i have used. not sure if they have a tourney director.

i have a buddy that uses pokertournamentmanager.com. it used to be something like $25 one time fee. heres a link: Poker Leagues - Tournament Results

We use and I would suggest (poker.meetup.com) Poker Players, Poker Meetups, events, clubs and groups in your area You can create a group and have all your friends join that group so you can keep everyone informed! You post events to a calendar, post pictures, files for updates, create polls, etc.... Each member can setup a profile and get emails for reminders as well! Give it a look!

You can also create your own forum via proboards for free. I use this for two poker leagues and it works great.

I would love a one time fee option. I could probably swing getting my players to pitch in and get something like that done. I love HPT.com, I just cant afford $6 a month from here on out.

HanahanStan beat me to it. I use StatsGenie / Home Series of Poker for uploading stats and keeping track of rankings. I actually use eVite for the invitations and reminders 'cause it's sexier, but Home Series of Poker can fulfill all your needs.

*EDIT* By the way, I briefly tried Poker Championship Series (PCS) by BuyPokerChips.com before deciding I preferred StatsGenie... haven't gone back, so I'm not sure what new features they might have. Might be worth checking out.

I'm happy to set up the league software that I was playing with and testing for you in your own directory or sub-domain if you wish.

It's free, works well, not complex, and tracks pretty basic stuff.

I don't know what homepokertour was tracking and what kind of data you put in / could get out, but you are welcome to tinker with the script I was playing with. I think I still have it installed on my webserver.

Thanks alot Quads, I really appreciate that but I have no idea how to do any of that stuff. I do have a domain www.resendezpokerroom.com but I dont know how to set up a script or anything like that. I bought it from godaddy.com and it just links to my .mac account.

If you have that, you should be able to install and run it yourself on your site.

DL the scrip from this link:

Unzip that to your local drive, read the install instructions and upload / install the script to your site. It's pretty straight forward.
