But sometimes I also like to hear something different : then I go to Rage Against The Machine or some songs of the Peppers. |

Home games: Whatever people bring that isn't too distracting.

I have a computer next to the table and always fire up Live365 Internet Radio - Thousands of Free Online Radio Stations and type in a single band I want to hear. I usually find that one of the first stations displayed is also playing everything I want to hear that night (Janes Addiction, Smashing Pumpkins, etc).
Evil and Matthew always play XM radio 80's (Matthew) or modern metal\rock (Evil). |

It then will analyze the music and search for stuff with similar characteristics (Music Genome Project). For each song, you can give it a thumbs up (find more like this), a thumbs down (don't like), or even don't play this song for a month. |

Try Some Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stan Getz, Charlie Bird. It definitely will help cope and sooth with some bad beats. To me I like the music because it's international, jet setting, and well orchestrated. |
