Chips: 49 | | | T-Mold tourney chips first use Well, we had a little prelinary warm up for next weeks NH v. MA meet up. I broke out the new T-molds for a T4000 to break in and see how they were. Well chips were great, of course everyone loved them, most people were non CT folks so most had no clue. Basically was Guinness, matthew, Arrowwood and myself and 8 other folks...
I chopped the prize money with 2 others to get to the cash game. So first outing I made out, woohoo! I played bad at the start, had a straight flush open ended draw and lost a ton of chips, I ended up down to about 600 then made a comeback, played a bit better got lucky in a few key spots. Matthew was knocked out early (not his style, I think he was tired from traveling and off his game, good to get that out of your system before the big meet up), I took him out when he had pocket 9's against my pocket 10's all-in preflop. Got extremely lucky late, we were down to 5 and the bigger stacks (myself included) were beating up on the newbie short stacks by betting at their blinds. When I was small blind with blinds at 200/400 I was dealt 4c5c and it was folded around to the blinds the BB only had about 1000 left after his BB and I raised 800 more to tryand get the blinds ( I had about 12000 at the time ) and he thought and pushed...ug so I call 200 more and he shows A,4os. Flop comes A,A,7 one club..and yes runner runner clubs for my flush. I actually caught a straight draw with a 2c on the turn. Good fun, we waited until we knocked 4th out before making a deal, he was annoying and had about 1000 left and kept hanging around, I was shortest stack with 3 left with about 9000 left after an AK hand fell apart, the second 4th was out we made the deal...he he, only 4 places paid.
No I don't have any pics.
Guinness was knocked out early, but went on to completely annihilate everyone in the cash game and take home over $400 from a small 50¢/1 game with $20 buy ins...he killed me when he caught on the river to grab a straight over my AQ with tptk...hard betting and he caught...happened a ton for him. I finally busted out a few hands later when I had pocket 9's anbd he woke up to Q's....oh well, still left with profit from the tourney.

While still playing I had pocketed alot of $20's while selling my chips when people needed them. I had cashed in $400 in chips at like 3am while still playing leaving only $25 or so on the table and that got driven up to $125ish before leaving at 4am. I arrived with $200 and came home with $710 ($550 cash game minus $40 for the tournament).
The tourney started with 2 short-handed tables with some goofy betting players. We should have started with more chips in that structure. You were almost dead early on but a coupla' nice double ups and you were moving strong when tables combined. Can't wait for the MA\NH game and we will only be a single table...not 2 tables of 5 and 6 with people betting T1000 into a T150 pot! Donks! |

Chips: 14,498 | | | Re: T-Mold tourney chips first use We drew for seats in the tourney and I was at a 5 handed table with one latecomer being blinded in. Four of the five were from our regular game. I got pocket 6's. Guiness raises the 25/50 blind to 250 - I call, player to my left calls. Flop is 8J8. Guiness checks, I bet 300, left calls, guiness calls. Turn - third 8, I check, left bets 500 - I call. River was another card, check, left bets 1000. Now I put him on a weak Ace, bascially playing the board, especially calling the 250 pre-flop. I call - he has J8 - flops the boat and caught quads on the turn. Didn't have a god damn clue that was coming.
Few hands later I got 9s. Go all in for my last 1500 or so after 99% raised to 350. He's got tens - good night.
The t-mold are incredible chips, the hotstamps are great. The one thing about 99% set I don;t like are the neon pink 1000s, but he's colorblind so as long as he can easily tell the chips apart - we're good.

Chips: 863 | | | Re: T-Mold tourney chips first use I loved the neon pinks...Evil doesn't like them either so because of his turnover history they should be up on M2M in about 5 hours... |

Chips: 49 | | | Re: T-Mold tourney chips first use I do like the pink, but the white and pink are hard for me to differentiate. I may sell off the 1000 and 5000 and get a differnt color...maybe chocolate 1000's..., need a red derivative...got yellow 25's, white 100's and purple 500's. It's either that or sell off the white 100's and get charcoal 100's....though I do love the yellow white purple combo on the table...the amount the 1000's are used I may just keep 'em. We only had 12 in play for the tourney...
