For NLHE tournies, what is your typical starting stack size in relation to the blinds?

I don't play in a lot of tournies but the one I try to play when I can starts at 250bb (2500 stacks with starting blinds of 5/10).

200 BB's for me.

T10000 and blinds start at 25-50

Stacks are 16 x T25, 16 x T100, 6 x T500, and 5 x T1000

Got some overlap in your poll Commander - Specifically 100BB. Where do you put this? last option is clearly listed as "over" 200 so I voted mine as 100-200

For a regular tourney, we consider 100 x BB as a minimum. We often play with 150x or 200x -- I'd consider 200x as a normal amount for us. For a deep stack or longer tourney, we've used anything from 250x to even 500x.

50 - 100BB for me...

Either a 10K or 20K starting stack with 100/200 blinds to start.

100BB for quicky SnGs - we try and play 3-4 a night.

250BB w/ rebuys & addons for a long single event

500BB w/ 1 rebuys & addon for a deep stack afternoon till midnight event.

60x BB at our game. We play T3000 with 25/50 starting blinds. Starting stacks are 12 x T25, 11 x T100, 3 x T500 = 26 chips. With 12-16 players, it takes right around 4 hours.

I go T5000 with 25/50 blinds. Sometimes I go with less, like T3000.
I rarely go higher than 100x the blinds to start.

I know, thought about that after I added poll. Should be 1-49, 50-99, 100-199 and probably 200+. Treat them that way.
