I hate choppin unless I'm a real short stack and the money is too good to refuse. |

i was going to say... "i'd chop.. If there was only one table & +4 people waiting to play the cash game" - heck, i've chopped 4 ways to get a cash game going.
didnt think about the dads car@home factor.... i'm getting old, i've got 10 more years until my kids can drive...

1 ) get another game started
2 ) It's very late in the night/morning and the other player is tired (and may have a long drive home)
I personally never offer to chop because I never want to give off that "I don't think I can win" scent. If I'm the chip leader I will never accept a 50/50 chop...and if I'm not the chip leader I want to be "paid" to go away but I usually don't expect 50/50. But since we added a season end payout bassed on league standings, there have been no chops because guys fight to the end to go after those 1st place and knockout points. |

With $340 to pay out, we would probably be a $190-$150 with $190 to the chip leader.
If it was a friend of a friend's game and I didn't play in it regularly, I probably wouldn't chop.
