So about 18 hrs or ~540 hands.
But it was at $400 and $500 NL so cost me almost 7 grand. |

btw you don't know variance until you hit a 20,000 hand patch like i did.
beat that! |

Chips: 1,514 | | | Re: What was/is your longest losing streak in Hands played *REDUX* No...we play for a buck.
$1 buy in equals $10 in cash chips....the game is reasonably well played, but when its 4 handed most of the time your playing requirements automatically go down. Most hands are heads up raiser vs caller, ocassional family pots with everyone limping trying to hit a big hand.
Most nights there is only 1 rebuy from 1 player. We have had some crazy nights were one guy bought in 10 or 12 times....he was really hammered and on the verge of obnoxious. But he did make for a sweet pot!!
Anyways...I feel the main goal of the night is to get out with some friends, have a few drinks, cook a steak, burger, or dog and have fun.
Now that I think about it, we used to play for nothing....or beer for the next week; we used to joke that we were playing for the three b's...Beer, Beef, and Braggin Rights!! |

Chips: 5,912 | | | Re: What was/is your longest losing streak in Hands played *REDUX* be glad that you played for a buck during your losing streak. Before I got my RB, Bonus, and some tourney win $$$ I was down $3000 in the month of march. Luckily for me my bankroll was at an all time high before this point and this really didn't stop me from playing or come even close to putting me in the red. Unfortunately I did have to drop back from 5/10 to 3/6 because I felt like the losing stretch was affecting my play and the 5/10 short-handed limit games on Full Tilt are actually very very very tough to beat (I would say at least half of the players on there are of "pro" caliber or they ran so hot against me that I thought they were). |

My longest (so far) "bad run" was back in 2004. I didn't book a winning session for close to 7 months. I was playing 3 and 4 nights a week anywhere from 4 to 12 hours / session. Within that, there were sessions where I didn't win a hand.
I went through another one in early 06, but it was only about 2 months. |
