i am gifting soprano chips to a host that is color blind.

what colors are cool?

there are new pink and yellow chips! i am more than willing to buy them for someone who is colorblind...

any advice? anyone?

Stay away from getting both green and red chips and blue and black, one but not the other. They are discernable sideby side, but from across the table it can get difficult. Just get chips that contrast. like white red blue or yellow, green, black. And yes I'm colorblind.

red vs pink might have more signifance...

I'm color blind to a degree. (uncommon type of color blindness)

Green and Blue are almost completely reverse. You see green grass, I see blue. You go on a green light, I go on a blue. You wear blue jeans, I wear green.

Blacks and Blues are also very hard to tell apart. Navy blue almost looks black to me. Lighter blues are green.

I think I will go with black, yellow, and pink... if the pink doesnt work, i'll swap in another color. This guy will be stoked. He has crappy walmart chips and I am going to surprise him with a 500pc set for his soon to be 40th birthday.

What you see as green, I see as blue and vis versa.

If it's the same across the board, how do you know that you're not seeing it the same way we are and just calling it green?

It depends on the person. Find out what colors are a problem for him. Contrast is key when choosing colors in situations like this.
