Re: Question about payout for cash game

What is so hard to get rolls of nickels, dimes, quarters for the game. When I host games and I make sure that I have change. Our game is 3/6 and I make sure that I have lots of loonies and toonies ($1 and $2 coins for those members that don't know Cdn currency.)

Re: Question about payout for cash game

I often play in a game that utilizes .25, .50, 1.00 and 5.00 chips. Dealers choice, many random games. Many times at the end of the night we have several people with "extra" chips. We usually cut the deck against each other for varying amounts until someone all the extra chips. We do always make sure to have plenty of $1 bills around though.

Change machines at laundromats are a good quick way to get change if you just need quarters.

Re: Question about payout for cash game

I am the usual bank and what I do is just leave a little plastic baggie with about $5 of loose change in there my chip case. That way I don't have to remember to make a special trip somewhere to get change. At the end of the night I just give everyone exact change. A lot of the time, especially if it is someone new, they will just say to keep it.

This method has yet to fail me.

Nanook

Re: Question about payout for cash game

No one has ever asked for the odd quarters in my game.

Re: Question about payout for cash game

We don't have people bring change. Once all the dollars have been paid back we play 5 card draw the change that's left over. Winner take all.

That way it's not TOTALLY left to chance.

I am this guy at every game I play at....how hard is it to stop at the Quik Mart and buy a soda. That takes 2 min and breaks that $20. You know as the guy who hosts all the time when I show up at someone elses house I am always so tempted to just bring that crisp right out of the ATM bill, but it just kills me to do it!!
