curious - what stakes are folks playing for?

lets assume, for the sake of this poll, NLHE is the game.

while i think i have a good idea after being around here a couple months, just wondering what stakes folks are playing for in their home game. realize that some of us play different stake game - just go with the ones you play most often.

Re: curious - what stakes are folks playing for?

tmpa2001, you have quite the range there .25/.50 - 5/10. I'd have troubling playing on those ends. I'd either playing like a total donk .25/.50 or playing so tight at 5/10 I wouldn't be able to detach the chair from my a$$.

I didnt read that it said Home Game.

In Home Games:
$0.25-$0.50 to $1-$2 ($20 - $100 buy-in)

Casino:
$2-3 to $5-10 ($100 - $500 buy-in)

That makes a little more sense.

Re: curious - what stakes are folks playing for?

I have a write-in vote

We usually play .10/.25 NLHE for cash games.

Re: curious - what stakes are folks playing for?

1/2 - Rarely
2/5 - Very Common
5/10 - Pretty Common
10/20 or 10/25 once in a while with the right group of "hard core" players.

Re: curious - what stakes are folks playing for?

I goofed in the voting...didn't pick up the 'home game' descriptor in the OP...for which I would have said that we play mainly 0.50/1 NL. Casino, it's always 1/2 NL for me.
