Thinking about going from a .10/.25 NLTH cash game to .25/.50 structure, concerns????
OK, so I host a regular .10/.25 NLTH cash game on Friday nights. Its a VERY friendly game starting with $10 buy-ins and rebuys all night long for half the big stack. By the end of the night there might be $300 bucks on the table, if that.
I'm getting a new cash set soon from CurseofThorn (The Mardi Gras Queen Chips) and will not have the .10 denoms anymore. So I'm thinking of moving my blinds to .25/.50, do you guys think this will change my friendly game much??? Do we need to buy in for more $ than $10 with .25/.50 blinds? There are MANY hands which are $1.00 or $2.00 preflop as it is so I don't it will change much, but your thoughts are definately of interest to me.

We generally play 0.25/0.25 or 0.25/0.50. I've played 0.10/0.25 but didn't quite understand how it was any different from 0.25/0.25. Anyway, you'll probably find $10 is too small a buy-in for $0.25/0.50, but if your players are used to re-buying for half the big stack and having up to $300 on the table, I doubt anyone will even notice.
