Chips: 5,848 | | | Updated Chip & Tourney Spreadsheet Here is an updated version of a spreadsheet I'd posted awhile back. http://home.comcast.net/~hachkc/tourney_setup_v2.xls
The spreadsheet is used for setting up tournies (players, payouts, chip breakdowns, sample blinds, etc.). Remember, only the blue shaded cells should be changed.
The new features are:
* Payouts are now rounded to $5 intervals
* Ability to reference multiple chip sets; especially useful for us ChipTalkers
* and probably a couple of minor things I can't remember. |

Chips: 3,968 | | | Re: Updated Chip & Tourney Spreadsheet Wow. Great tool. I especially like the easy switch from one chip set to another... that will come in very handy (as I have two different tournament sets with two different structures, etc.)
I would like to see a rake option, though. I rake $50 from each buyin to be awarded to the TOC at year end...
EDIT: Nevermind, it appears the "Bonus" box takes care of this... nice of you to add the comment boxes... thanks!

Chips: 3,968 | | | Re: Updated Chip & Tourney Spreadsheet 17 guys x $25 + 15% rebuys... First place is usually $200 - $250.
TOC will be a free roll...$400 in prize money.

TOC will be a free roll...$400 in prize money. | So you meant $50 rake per tournament, not per buy-in. Makes more sense. I mean with a $50 rake per buy-in you'd have to have like a $250-400 buy-in and that's a pretty pricey tournament by my standards (for a home game). |

Chips: 947 | | | Re: Updated Chip & Tourney Spreadsheet Great tool! One reccomendation would be to allow for a percentage of payouts instead of number of payouts. i.e. say you have 100 people and you want to pay out 10 people. That would be 10% pay out. 10 % payout for 50 people would be 5.
