Predicament

Well last night I played a 2.50 SnG to get into a 100k qualifier at Absolute. I won the SnG and later that night played in the Qualifier where the top 4 got a seat in the 100k tourney. Well I made it into the top 4 so now I have a free entry to the 100k. Problem is I didn't realize the 100k is next saturday afternoon, it starts at 4:30 and I have the guys coming over for our poker league at 6:00. I will most likely still be in the 100k at 6.

Should I cancel our home league game?
Just have the guys start and blind/fold till I'm done with the tourney?
Not play the 100k?

I hate to not play at the table as it would seem like I would be a bad host, but a chance at 100k is hard to pass up.

What do you think?

I would buy in and post blinds until you either bust out of the 100k or are bust. If your playing with friends they will understand.

Thats what I am leaning towards, don't wanna pass up a shot at 100k.

I have 100k freeroll (monthly VIP tourney) I'm playing in next Saturday also at P* around 3:30p. I qualified for it about 2 weeks ago.

Here's to both of us doing well.

Definately concentrate on the $100K & let the guys play there game. Depending on your chip stack I would not even worry with your weekly game.

The guys should be behind you in your quest for the $100k, kind of like your own little gallery at the WSOP.

no kidding the home game will pay out $100

I have a wireless network and I play on a laptop, I will probably sit at the table with my laptop and fold unless I hit a really big hand.
