Talking Finally got our custom table yesterday!

Well we finally got our custom tables in yesterday.

The cloths were printed by www.lonestarpokercloths.com

And the table was built by www.royalgamingproducts.com

I could not be happier with the purchases, and it really adds a LOT to the ambiance of our little poker room to have a custom table as the center piece.

Re: Finally got our custom table yesterday!

Well...

Since I've started a business of reselling poker gear and teaching new players the game, I bought them at wholesale pricing...

They would retail for about $200 on the cloth and $400 for the table, but I got two of them made (one with folding legs to take to other peoples houses) for about 40% off of that list price.

Even at reatial, that ain't bad considering how much many of us have invested in the chips on top of the table...

Be sure and post a review of how the table is working out after you've been able to host a couple games or lessons on it!

I bought two tables.

One (in the picture) is now screwed to those big round cast iron table bases, like you see at restaurants. Stable as it gets. You could sleep on it if you wanted to.

The one with the folding legs is just fine too. As sturdy as any table with folding legs gets.

They are identical except the "installed" one I bought the legs for about $32 each from a local restaurant supply house, and had a drop box installed.

The "traveling" one with the folding legs has no drop box.

The Royal Gaming guys use a single sheet of 3/4" board, and it has VERY little flex to it. This helped with attaching the table bases too, because I could drive about twelve 1/2" screws into the table bases it and not worry about them poking out the top!

The printing/grahpics adds a lot to the table. I really like it.

Re: Finally got our custom table yesterday!

Very nice table. I have to say that nice chips, nice cards, and a nice table all make a significant difference.

L

PS OTOH, maybe that's just what I tell myself to rationalize the money I've spent.

Re: Finally got our custom table yesterday!

How does that pool table light work for you? I seriously need to work on the lighting in my room and saw that I can pick those up pretty cheap.
