Re: Announcing: New "Web Mold" Inlay Chip Design

Should have went with "Non-Public Cardroom"

and decorated with scribbles rather than scrolls

denominations in new Polish złoty

not sure if your cheap @$$ chips should be allowed to be round though,
I guess we'll need to discuss that further.

by the way I plan on having my new chips labeled with "Tournament Poker"
and expect no one else to infringe on my design by using these words in any combination or configuration.

Can't you just do something original? I mean completely original. Enough cheap crap already.
Dude-- ALL we did was make an offer for a GB- the MEMBERS did the rest- they designed the chips- not me-

IF you want to critisize someone- do it to the chiptalk members who designed and voted on these.

Its pretty much a dead issue that these are knockoffs of ANYTHING-- after all weve been trough on CHiptalk I thonk you know that the membership would be the first to yell, scream and hollar about something being a knock off. It didnt happen- because it isnt.

I'm done with this thread- enough wasted time.

I wouldn't say that they are not a knock off of anything seeing as the edgespots and colours are IDENTICAL to the Pharoh's and Paulson Classics and James Bonds. Maybe not any of MSPATTONS specific lines, but it really is a mix of themes used recently on several lines of high quality chips blended together.

Bottom line, the inlay may be different enough that you can argue they are a different chip, but like Shakira's hips, the edgespots don't lie...knock off.

Re: Announcing: New "Web Mold" Inlay Chip Design

I may be really thick, but is this an actual product offering or is this a vendetta, 'cause I kind of like the design. Yes, very similar to the PI GB chips, but in cali colors with different edge spots. I like it. I keep reading through the thread trying to find pricing. I guess the joke is on me .

Yes, the joke's on you. Read through the whole thread and you'd understand.

Ya, doesn't it feel great to have people jerk your chain, so they can make their point?

I'm so glad we could all be lured into this thread by the prospect of nice chips, to find out our real worth isn't as willing, paying customers but as pawns in a poker chip turf war.

Agreed. I've been waiting to see the real designs on this mold but I guess that's still not happening.
