Re: Announcing: New "Web Mold" Inlay Chip Design

Michael is the best, but this (like 90% of all the creative arguments on this board)
is ridiculous. I guess he's thinking like the NRA (or ACLU for that matter). *Any*
similarities to his designs must be attacked.

The DESIGN is without question or debate, mine. MS Patton's argument is over my use of the "Iron Flower" and placing text around the edges. He feels that because he used it in his Speakeasy design that it's further use constitutes plagiarism.

I thought we had resolved this issue privately. I guess not ...

Regardless of who copied who, Michael's OP chips look way better and hopefully he is actually making them because I want some.

Re: Announcing: New "Web Mold" Inlay Chip Design

What are you talking about?

Seriously, anyone who thinks the Private Cardroom PI chips even resemble the Speakeasy's, I don't even know what to say.

They may have a squiggly thing at the top that is similar, but seriously, that's pretty common on chips.

MS Patton will ... should anyway ... admit that his issue is and has been with the ELEMENTS. He doesn't understand that the elements alone do not constitute a DESIGN.

I will be happy to post our original correspondence (if I can find it) if you can't trust me.

Then again ... maybe MS Patton would brave the storm he's started and say something for himself.

If this is true, and Michael really thinks this, I lost a lot of (if not all) respect for him and HPC. Not only in the fact that he's being ridiculous in his thoughts about plagarism, but in that he so childishly made up chips that to in a mocking fashion, that are a blatant plagarism of Garyon's design.

OMG, I'm so glad i wasn't the only one thinking this. I thought I must be going mad.

The Private Cardroom and Speakeasy's look nothing alike, and the thought of this going any further is ridiculous.

It's just fun to attack. Period.
