There's an interesting consequence to take into account regarding this chip, taken in the context of the set:
For a Cali cash set, this will most likely be used as a $20, placed between the Yellow $5 (or perhaps Red $10) and White $100. No conflict of interest there. And of course some people might use the black chip for unconventional purposes such as a fractional or a $1, and who knows what the neighbouring chips would be.
However, for a traditional tournament set, this would be used as a T100, between (either) Green T25 and Lavender T500. Since it's spots are Day Green and Purple, this might be considered somewhat of a "Samurai effect" (or whatever you want to call it), where the spots on a chip are the same as its neighbours' base and/or spot colours. However, neither the Green (either of them) or the Lavender/purple chip use any of the same shades of green and purple in their bases or spots... which is kind of interesting (and surprising, given the number of shades of green on the Greens and purples on the Lavender).
Just thought I'd point that out to anybody who hadn't noticed.
As you were...
