Re: TMSC Round #2 - Black Entries... AGAIN!

Is there a consensus for spot pattern yet? Are we going with 3s18 (for 2 spot colours) or 3t18 (for 3 spot colours)? Does anybody want the black to be 4d14 or 4t18?

As part of answering the top question, which 1 or 2 of these are being entered?

I would like the 3T18 or the 3U.

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Black Entries... AGAIN!

I like both the the 3t18 and the 3s18! ..... However, I ended up mocking up the 3t18 since when push came to shove, that's the edge spot I liked better. One other thought, the 3s18 is some what like the white chip in edge spot pattern ( 4s18 ). The only difference other than color is the 3 verus 4 spots. The 3t18 would seem to create a wider difference from the white chip for the edge spot pattern.

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Black Entries... AGAIN!

I would really like to see a black 4s18 or 3s18, it wouldn´t be often in use together with the white chip i think. So it won´t be too bad if they share the same spot-config.

I remain opposed to split spot. We have already used it on the white and if we do not do a four color chip we should all be shot.

I really think which egde spot pattern that is chosen should depend a little on which yellow chip wins...

If the yellow 4d14 wins, then this should be 618 & if the yellow 618 wins, then this should be 4d14. Not a huge fan of the 3t18 as I've mentioned before...but, with the middle color being black I like it a little better...
As smitty suggested, I'm thinking of turning 6a14 entries into 3s18... mainly because there are already a lot of 6a18/6a14 chips in the set (and we might even change the red or yellow as a result). Is everybody ok with this, or do you want some Black 6a14's in the mix (to vote on)?

IMO, that sounds alright...Like I said, I think the 3s18 looks pretty good on the black with some of the choices that have been thrown out there.

I personally think the Yellow should stay as 6a18, but of course that is JMO. I would not mind seeing the Red as a 4a18 or 4a14...of course, if my precious arc yellow base chip would have won then I might not be so invested in the Yellow!
