Fairly standard Cali progression (including lots of "in-between" chips) is:
{Orange, Red, Pink, or Brown} fractional, Blue $1, Green $2, Pink $3, Yellow $5, Red (or Plum/Brown) $10, Black $20, Purple $25, White $100. | Thanks! So I guess sharing the same pattern with the $10 is no problem... Quote:

Note: I'm aware that the 618 pattern is also used on the red chip. But at least for "standard" colors these two chips won't be at the table together: For Vegas colors they're too far apart (5 vs 1000). I don't know what red is used for in Cali but a .25/1/5/20/100 cash set progression shouldn't need a red one.
And here's how they look like. | Very, very nice! |

I forgot how much I love the 4T18 w/ the middle color matching the base chip color. This is Canary Yellow w/ Dark blue, Canary Yellow, & Mauve edge spots...For the record, I love this chip! Also thought about just keep it one edge spot color and actually have a true "U" design. Canary Yellow w/ Dark Blue & Canary Yellow Same idea as above...Horizon Blue w/ Sky blue & Horizon blue to achieve a true "U" look. |

As for your two 3U's, jdunford said in Post #10 that there had to be two edgespot colors on 3U chips. |

As for the 3U...I thought that was just pertaining to black & yellow "bumblebee" chips... |

Chips: 1,697 | | | Re: TMSC Round #2 - Blue / Yellow Entries I would not do any BCC Yellow chip using the body color for fill. There's been earlier discussion on this. I have a chip where I did this and the results at not good. |

Originally Posted by smitty007 As for the 3U...I thought that was just pertaining to black & yellow "bumblebee" chips... | That is correct... Can't have "only Black" on yellow. But you can have a 1-colour 3U. Just be aware that the middle spot might not perfectly match the base (which I don't think is an issue with the 3U so much, since there's a spot colour separating them... but could be very annoying on a 3s18/4s18 type (i.e. 3t18 or 4t18 with the middle spot matching the base). That sort of option should be ok on White (has been done before with good results) and probably Black (although I haven't seen it done), but probably not a good idea on Canary Yellow since it might exhibit more significant variance.
... have been working on my thesis too much... that last expression ("might exhibit...") is right out of Chapter 4... | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
