Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

Charcoal is a lot more Grey than I was led to believe. It's certainly tipped toward Black, but fully in the world I would call Grey.

That first chip, Charcoal 6A14 Almond/Orange, makes me feel all warm inside. Could be the Bourbon, though I'm thinking it's actually the chip.

Charcoal = the base of the Samurai $5000. I often have Samurai $5000s and $100s on the table at the same time, without confusion. I didn't think of it at the time, but the "ghost chip" really isn't all that different from the Samurai $5000s "charcoal with grey + Laker purple (?)".

  • Should we have two purples? Namely, a Lavender and a Laker?
  • Which of these is more important? We can't have all of a (Black & Charcoal) + (Pink & Orange) + (Lavender & Laker Purple) + (White & Almond) + (Dark Green & Sherbet Green) + Red + Blue + Yellow + Chocolate... This might be the next poll (if I can figure out a way to put it into a multiple-choice question).
1. I prefer pink to orange. For the set I think I'll buy, I don't need both b/c I'm thinking cash.
2. If we have a gold choice, I don't need chocolate. I would like to use either a gold or a chocolate option as quarters in my cash set.
3. I'm loving the almond, coral plum combo too. I don't need a white option, but I wasn't planning on going CAli.
4. I love Laker, but the Lavender seems more versatile.
5. I can't choose between black and charcoal. Prefer pink to orange, lavender to purple, almond to white, sherbert to dark green (but I feel a dark green is needed to make the set more versatile).

So far I really like everything I'm seeing. Personally, I think I will be happy with whatever gets decided.

EDIT: I just looked back over recent mockups. They look too great. I don't see how I can limit myself to 4 chips when this finally reaches fruition.

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

Great ideas, everyone.

First, I really hate that Royal Red didn't make the cut. Blood Red is always available...

Anyway, here is my idea.

I'd prefer the black 3-color chip to be a 3-moon pattern, but I didn't know how to do it.

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

W Orange, Chocolate, Charcoal, Lavender in that order for priority. Yes, I need a effing Orange chip. Pink, less so.

I saw a few mockups in the last three pages that I really liked, will have to dig backwards and get them out.

This set is a monster of a mess in terms of it's possibilities. I am surprised everyone hasn't had brain aneurysms yet.

Look at my sig for f's sake.

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

Just wondering...would you arc-yellow lovin' freaks ( ) appreciate some orange pie?

Just a thought,

David.

PS: Please note that the new Canary Yellow doesn't pop as much as the old - I've included a more accurate version of BigBrando's Yellow chip above.
