I would agree if the entire set was designed for an individual purchase. However, this entire set was design to to mix and match. I don't think anyone will order the entire selection so harmony won't be a factor as a whole. Everyone here will most likely be picking 3-5 choices to make their set so we should throw in as many repeated rare options as possible to create flexibility. For example, aside from the beautiful T-mold, I am pretty positive that the secondary driving factor in this GB is the quarter pie. It's a good thing that we have at least two options so if one doesn't fit in someones set, the other will likely be able to. Either way, I am stoked.

???? You seriously can't find at least 3 chips you like in this selection??? not even something that you would be satisfied with?

Correct, i meant if you look at the stack without seeing the chips face, it looks like they both have the same spot-pattern but different colors.
I wonder how you have been able to understand me, regarding the horrible spelling in my previous post
I played around a little with the existing options and i found something i "like".
Its not nice enough to justify buying another set ASAP but it may be an option to spend some suddenly occuring poker winnings on

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

I think the process was pretty good all things considered though I would always prefer to thing of a matching working group of chips (start with the two workhorses and branch out for a total 4-5 set). Outside of my truly whacked dream set based on the really old Binions and Dunes, I'd have preferred something like:

By meridianfc at 2008-03-19

"Two Tone" for simplicity, a variety of spots but a kind of logical progression, held together by being all "fat". A nod to the Borlands but with the BCC difference.

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

I hope I don't get any hate mail for this, but......

I don't like the 3U all that much. There, I said it, man I feel better!

I personally think the process went well. Yeah, there are chips that some people aren't happy with, but I think no matter what we would have had that.

I really like the choices available, including the green...there are definitely some that I would tweak a little, but it's not enough to keep me from getting my set.

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

Let's ship the saturn yellow 3 moon and be done with it! Great Chip JM. Takes no other tweaking like 3U would.

All the 412s people keep talking about look like *ss and don't fit in the set. The 3 Moon rocks!

Re: TMSC Round #2 - Discussion thread

If only saturn yellow actually looked like that in person, it would be great. Sadly it does not. Think of chest mucus mixed with yellow snot during cold season ...that is the closest saturn yellow example I can give.
