Yea, they do! Those were my color selections for a setup before I was enticed to let the CT Membership design this set. I'll have to try and find some inlays to put on them now

Couldn't decide on which pink to go with - I always seemed to like the one I didn;t have mocked up....
Not sure on the grey with orange.....maybe grey with black?

Using Cali colors as a starting point: 25 cents/$1/$2/$5/$20/$100
By mizuchaud
Or reorganized into tourney style:
T25/T100/T500/T1000/T5000/NCV
By mizuchaud
Note: this was using ONLY six chips... drool.
By the way, this semi group buy was touting all the fancy edgespots available, and what do I do? use 4A14...... sheesh. |

Feel free to discuss here.
Entries for Round #1 will commence tomorrow morning, and will be open for 5 days, after which voting will begin. Round #1 will consist of individual chips (which might not be the most popular way to do it, but we think it might be the most efficient).
Oh, and please forgive my Canadian spelling... |

Chips: 2,986 | | | Re: Gauging Interest - T Mold "Semi Customs" Round #1 entries for a red chip are now being accepted ( http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/holdem...d-entries.html). Threads for other chip colours will open at regular intervals. Entries for each of the 8 subsections of Round #1 will be open for 5 days. You can change your entries as many times as you want in that time, but please edit your previous post (rather than posting multiple times) and I'll go with whatever I find at the deadline.
Please keep the majority of the discussion here, to avoid diluting the entry threads. Also, I realize a complete (multi-chip) set is a "work of art", and individual chips "taken out of context" might lose their appeal somewhat, so I won't discourage anyone from referring to their multi-chip progression mock-ups. |

Chips: 130 | | | Re: Gauging Interest - T Mold "Semi Customs" General question on how the voting process is going to work?
For instance, what if there are 15 submissions? It seems like just voting for your favorite out of 15 is a little simplistic. Jeff, had you guys thought about letting those voting pick like a top 3 (or 5, whatever), with your favorite getting 3 points, 2nd favorite 2, 3rd favorite 1, etc.. Total points wins.
That would be more labor intensive, so I don't know. Another option that would be doable (I think) within chiptalk's system is creating a poll where you can select more than just one option, and saying you can select up to 3 that you like, but no more. Then, most votes wins..
It just seems like voting for 1 chip could be a little skewed. Heck, 1 of the 15 chips could get 5 votes and win (because the votes are spread out so much), while maybe it would have been the worst color scheme for a lot of people..
Just curious if you guys had developed a plan for this yet. Thanks | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
