Most of those chips were used here in the NW and you don't see many
around the country. Not saying the chips here are clay but that is what
Portland Card did. These would have to be 20-30 years old, maybe more, I would guess.

Would you be suprised to hear that Portland Card sold wood chips? The guy that is selling them didn't seem to be very cluefull about the chips, so I suppose it's possible they are clay and he thinks they are wood.
Here's another pic he sent me, though it doesn't offer much more info.
I searched for "wood" on that site and came up with nothing. In fact, I can't get anything useful out of google on wooden chips. Any links to wooden chip info would be appreciated.
Nothing would surprise me. I just know that the clay mold is tied to
PCC pre PC.com getting it. If you're paying $50 for the lot of 800+
I don't think you'd be too hurt.

It's actually $50 for 2000+ with some standard plastic chip trays, metal dealer trays and a couple cases. I told him I'd take it and will pick it up tomorrow. I'll post pix when I have them.
Thanks for the help, cross your fingers that they are actually clay...
