Of course it wouldn't! And that's were this moves from objuective to subjective.

I don't think the combination designs are beautifully done (not to take away from the skill in making it). For my taste they are too busy and disjointed. To me, the turtles alone are too busy as well... each turtle has so much going on in it.

2 cents: a custom mold that doesn't have a direct link to the chip theme is pointless. The turtles are nice, and yes they are tropical, but they are not an appropriate custom mold for the chip-theme. It has to be palm trees, and if not we might as well save some bucks and go with a stock mold.

I agree... the turtles are nice but they don't fit at all in my mind. I'm really thinking it should be 3 Palms or nothing (since we can't seem to find an overwhelming majority).

I think the best would be pairs or triplets of curved palms and no turtle.

The inlay should also have two or three curved palms. The straight palms have no "personality".

IF this poll ended right now this would be the second poll out of the three where the turtles have been ahead in the votes with the only poll it lost being the first one and was only behind by 1 vote. How can we be all the sudden ignoring this information and making a statement that you think it should be trees or nothing??? If anything with the results from the polls it should be the other way around.. The leader (turtles) or nothing since many votes are going to the second and thrid place options. I realize that you started this out for all of us but since there are so many ppl involved in the purchase it really has to come down to the voting...

And the turtles are ahead again.

I never made a decision to go with the Palms. And when I wrote that message, it was only a 1 vote difference between Palms and Turtles, which was not enough of a majority the first time for Palms to win.

my $.02 (not that it's worth even that much), but the curved palms and turtles is the most balanced and has the best overall look of any of the mockups so far.

That's the one I think some people were asking for fromt he start (I know I was). turning the palm and giving it the motion from curving it made all the difference. I think a lot more people would be on the bandwagon if that was the first one they had seen.

it's taken some time, but I'd like to thank the talented people who are making this possible. Seems like turtles overall are very popular. Unfortunately I think this poll is going to have to go to another poll. (will it ever end) . making everyone happy is never gonna happen, but it seems pairing up the turtles and the palms gives everyone a bit of what they are looking for in this chip.

originally I was all turtles, but the curved palms and turtles are it for me...that's a beautiful looking chip.

There really isn't any way around either using the Turtles Mold or the Turtles/Curved Palms mold. They are the top two vote getters, and unless something changes soon, will probably go head to head in yet another poll. I have been talking to FJohnson, and he is making a mockup of those two designs with a small change I think will really help the designs. I'll keep you informed as soon as I get the mockups.

FJohnson has a prior commitment to take care of first, and I wouldn't have anyone rush him... he is doing us all a favor here, so he shouldn't make us a priority.
