Chips: 53 | | | Matsui Group Buy- Custom Mold- Yes or No? Pretty basic poll here. As many of you know, the Matsui group buy is getting close to pricing and orders, but one of the big steps here is choosing whether or not to go with a custom mold. This mold would run the buy $2500, or about $.025 per chip. I might be off on this number, however. I figure on 100,000 chips being ordered... 20,000 from board members in general (I used something close to the ASM buy, but a little lower to be safe) 30,000 from Jimmy Blowout (IIRC, he said he would be ordering somewhere around there to resell) and 50,000 from Ace (again, IIRC, this is what he said he would be ordering to resell).
So, what do you guys think? After this poll, if we decide to do a custom mold, we can vote on which option we like best. If we decide on no custom mold, we will choose whether or not to use a grand inlay. And please, only vote if you are going to buy chips! |

Chips: 53 | | | I'll give it to till tomorrow afternoon, but it doesn't look like the vote will change. So, if all you standard mold supporters are waiting to vote, do it soon! |

The additional cost based on 100,000 total chips would be 2.5¢ per chip. |

Chips: 53 | | | Wow, I didn't even realize I did that. I even checked the post over again before I posted it, everything seemed good to me... thanks for catching that, J5. |

Chips: 157 | | | They both say the same thing: $.025 and 2.5c are the same thing, but I see where it could be confusing to some. |

Chips: 12 | | | IMO, there's no point in doing this group buy we don't do a custom mold. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
