IMO the blue looks really dull but the red looks good matching her shorts. It feels very American with the red, but with the blue it just looks washed out.

Pinups - Which of these BLUE chips do you like best?

Definitely NOT yellow on this one! The Blue has way too much blue - no contrast! RED gets my vote on this one - very colorful with the subject!

The red may match her shorts, but it's hard on my eyes. I think the dark blue looks great.

I think the shorts pop all by themselves and adding red to the rim doesn't add anything to the chip design.

The chip can be somewhat muted since there's nice art including the tinted background. Pulling the eye away from that is a detraction.

That said: even without more red on the chips, incorporating a splash of red into the edgespot would be acceptable even if it wasn't anywhere else on the face of teh chip except the girls shorts resting on teh face of the chip...

I voted on the green one first and tried not to read the comments before voting. Your comments about some of the colors being distracting from the girl should apply here too. The only one that the accents are not distracting is the dark blue one.

For me, no contest on this one.

Alan

Foreground color tone

Ten,
Is it my imagination, or is the tone of the foreground image slightly lighter on the yellow and dark blue accent chips than it is on the red?

Later,
B

BTW: I voted for the red, I'm an ass man and I think it draws attention there.

That's just perception. They are both the same.

This is a hard choice. To be perfectly honest I'm not crazy about any of them. I'm not trying to be difficult because I know all these mock ups take a lot of time to produce. If it must be one of the three I would take the Red.

How about trying White or Grey?
