We're having trouble deciding what color to make the American Beauty chip. This is the one with the girl in red/white standing before a flag.

What I want to do is post a row of the current chips in the set, and above I'll post the two versions of the "American Beauty" chip.

1. One is pink and folows the same plan as the others: Tint the background to match the chip color (in this case, pink).
2. Two breaks from the chip theme by leaving the background un-tinted and overall has no "chip color" except red white and blue overall.

The purpose of this poll is not whether you like pink, nor whether you like red white and blue. It's a choice between the two styles here, either "keep with the theme" with a tinted chip, or "break away from theme" for one chip and make it red, white & blue.

That's a toughie. I guess it would help to know if you're planning on sticking to 12 chips. We know green is in the works. What about white? Orange? Grey?

EDIT: In the end, with so many chips, I think it's okay to have one outside the scheme, especially when it comes to this specific chip. Plus one could always use it as an alternate red chip.

It’s a no-brainer: if you are not going to display the National Ensign boldly, don’t display it at all.

OK when i first saw this set i thought there was no way my wife would let me get them and i really didn't like them to much. Now that things are coming together i really really like them....

Yes, all major colors are pciked out although you haven't seen them all yet. Suffice it to say that I am down to "pink and brown" as the only colors not assigned to a girl. Green, orange: Both done just awaiting tweaks.

We are hoping for 12, shooting for 8, and guaranteed 6.

red/white/blue.....as long as it's the only one...more then one, and you really are breaking the "theme"

if it's NCV I'd use it as a misc. high value chip so the color matters not, but the pink one, while following the theme, just doesn't look right IMO

The US Flag is an important symbol - please do not tint it pink.

I think it would look better on a white chip keeping the red white and blue background or a grey chip tinting it to greyscale leaving the girl in color.
