Close one. Here's an idea (feel free to stomp it out): Maybe "Black Sands" has 2 locations...one scrolling the top-side of the inlay and one scrolling the bottom...like sister casinos. Thoughts?
Regardless, is it right to say we now have our chip? 3-palms and St.Kitts?

It was actually 2 at midnight last night. Oh well, I wanted Playa Negra too, but I am happy with St. Kitts. Just glad Hawaii didn't win. Looks like we got our chip. Black Sands, 3 palms, St. Kitts.

I have been speaking with Matsui to resell their chips in the US and have been given the following price structure by them:

Minimum order 50,000 pieces
1 color clay chips (no edge spot) no inlay .40
1 color clay chips (no edge spot) w/ inlay .50
$2500 set up charge for custom mold

Someone has mentioned these prices before, but just wanted to re-iterate because I have been discussing pricing with Matsui on an unrelated matter and they seem pretty firm on this. Also this does not include freight charges from South Korea where they are produced. A 50,000 piece order weighs in @ 1100 lbs. so I think you can figure in another $500-1000 for freight charges to the US. This works out to approx. .57 per chip before individual shipping and paypal or merchant charges. Paypal or merchant charges are 4% per transaction x $27,500 is $1100 bringing it to .60 per chip. I would estimate final charges on this order coming in at .63 per chip after charges for reshipping.

Any word on inlay limitations? Does it have to be a two color max inlay, or can it have the chip color as well as white and black?

That I don't know, but will ask in my next email. The only hang-up I have on that is we would need to see samples of every color we were going to order. This is because they would need to be placed against Pantone colormatch swatches, then converted into the appropriate RGB, CMYK or Hex values depending on their print process. I say this because we would want this color to match the chip exactly (we've all seen the chips with the faux shaped inlay and that goofy cowboy where the colors are off)

We could always get the Pantone values from Matsui themselves, I'm fairly sure that is what they are doing in the ASM buy.

Is this generally where we're at?

My wife even thinks they look great...and she hates everything.
