I really wanted white or black too. I just got samples of an imperial blue and mandarin red in the mail, and its not as impressive as I thought it would be. The imperial blue is much more turquoise than I it looks on the chip generator. Also, the mandarin red is a couple shades lighter too. Oh well. Get those votes for m. red with white (or black) in!

I voted imperial blue, but personally would be happy with white as well (don't like the black at all). There are plenty of other colors that suck the sweat off a dead man's balls though, but I am okay with the fact that this buy is not all about me.

Personally I think it sucks that the white and blue chips are negatives of each other because I like to use blues as $10 chips not as the other $1 choice!

I think these colors are suck A$$:
Mandarin Red/Arc Yellow
Mandarin Red/DG Yellow
Green/DG Yellow
Black/DG Pink
Lavender/DG Pink
Yellow/Chocolate

The ones I think are OK are:
Black/DG Green
Green/DG Peach
Purple/Arc Yellow

Of the choices left I wanted to see a Yellow chip with black spots, but it does not look like that is gonna happen( Yellow split votes in the final poll because it was the only one given with 2 spot colors). And even if it somehow happens it looks like the other black is gonna be black with yellow spots which would again make 2 chips in play at the same time just be negatives of each other.

Despite all of this I am going to put together a great set of chips with:
Solids:
Grey
Imperial Blue
Pink
Orange

Spots:
Mandarin Red/Imperial Blue or White (I hope)
Green/Yellow or Green/DG Peach
Black/DG Green (or hopefully Black/Orange if it makes a comback)
Purple/Light Green or Purple/Arc Yellow
Hopefully Yellow/Some color other than Doo Doo Brown!

I will probably also buy some greys with spots from PC.com for my $5000 tourney chips cuz I think high denom chips should definitely have spots.
The plain chips I will use for my cash games.

I say all this because, despite all the colors that somehow have been chosen that I wouldn't piss or puke on, I am still putting together a MONEY chip set for not a lot of green!!

btw: One final lobby for gettin rid of one of those purple/lavender choices for another yellow choice!! Come on guys, you know it makes sense.

I also voted for the Red/Black combo,it just looks so classy IMHO.
The problem is that a lot of people are gonna vote for what like even if they have no intention of buying any of the chips in question,thats the main flaw in the system that I can see.

Yep, definitely a flaw in the system with no easy fix, unfortunately.

led, you've done an awesome job with all of us troublemakers. I have a modest proposal. You've got every right to tell me to p!ss off if you don't want to do this and I'll accept that. How about re-opening a poll for man. red with all the existing spots that are getting support. That would be arc yellow, DG yellow, black, white, grey, imp. blue, whatever else. Top 3 in that poll are the choices. That way, hopefully, people can only vote for the spots they actually are going to buy. If blue comes up 3rd there, then that's that.

Like I said, feel free to deny my request if it saves you some pain. This just seems to be a chip body color that almost everyone is going to buy and there seem to be many of us that don't have a spot choice that we're real proud of.

Whichever chip wins these final polls will be the chip we order. There are already too many polls. Although I would personally love man red/black to win, man. red/imperial blue is not that much of a surprise as it received a lot of votes (close to man red/black) in the first poll as well. This is supposed to be a very quick group buy. The longer we delay, the worse it gets and then more people are going to be grumbling. At some point I just have to say this is it, and I think I've given enough time for people to choose.

Led, did you see my post in the other thread? Green/Yellow is winning two polls... the "Final Green Chip Combo" poll and the "Final Red/Green/ Whatever" poll. Seeing as it leads both, and Mandarin Red/Black has placed well in every poll it has been in, and is in second in the "Final Red/Green/Whatever" poll, maybe it could find its way into the group buy? It doesn't make sense for the same color to win two polls, and have the other combos skipped over.

Who's actually buying yellow and doo doo brown chips and how many? Can I please get a voice of reason out there????? The red, green, and black chips are going to be in play the most and therefore have been given 3 color choices each, this makes complete sense. The purple and yellow (as higher denoms) will be in play much less. So why in God's green earth are there 3 purple choices and only 1 (read 1) yellow with **** all over it.

Godamnit I voted for mandarin red/imperial blue but I take it all back I swear. Give me red/black give me red/white, give me red and practically any fcuking color out there except for DOO DOO BROWN. And please do something about the yellow situation too.

btw: I am ordering approx 1000 chips with prolly 150-200 red.

I voiced my concern over purple too a few days ago, but it just seemed like people are fixated on getting exactly what they want on the purple. It complicates matters that there's a split b/w the body colors and that whole discussion about dayglo vs. nondayglo colors as well. Can't do anything now, sorry, it would probably set us back another week.

I didn't like yellow/brown in the beginning, but the more I look at it now, the better it looks. Isn't brown standard for $5000 chips? Since we don't have any brown body colors in this set, I think makes it interesting on the yellow chip.
