Matsui (no spots) - blue or purple?

OK, so Black Sands destroyed the competition in the casino name poll. Next up is choosing colors. Currently, the plan is to have pink, green and grey, then choose 1 color from blue/purple and 1 from orange/yellow. If anyone has a problem with that, feel free to speak up.

First question, would you rather have blue or purple? Blue would likely be "light blue"(01) and purple would probably be "lavender" (11). You can see the various shades in this Matsui color chart posted by ott in this thread, but keep in mind the actual chips might look a little different:

(look about halfway down the page)

Some samples (I don't have the turtle or ball+waves graphic, so I don't have any mockups of those, but they haven't been forgotten):

light blue:

lavender:

General info (for people new to the buy):
This group buy is for non-edgespot Matsui clay chips. They will be non-denom, probably 5 colors (either “pastel” or “bright”) with a black inlay and simple design. A custom mold is also being considered ($2500 for a custom mold). We do not know what the price will be yet, but early rumors are that they will be around $0.50 per chip. Minimum order is 5000 per denom, 50000 total order. We do not have a timeframe yet for these chips, but we will try to keep everyone updated as soon as we know anything.

For more information about Matsui clay chips, see TenPercenter’s review here:
http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=812

ACEPokerchips will be handling the actual order with Matsui. He will be adding custom plaques to the set, and is also considering adding a denominated version of these chips.

I think we need to make sure that 2 colors (especially that there are no edge spots to differentiate) are no too similar... and maybe pink (a certain choice apparently with green and gray) will be a bit close to lavender? just my 2 cents

PS: I suppose that this argument is also valid for the yellow/orange poll...although there are less similarities with the base colors.

The thought was that blue and purple look similar, so we decided to only choose 1. Same idea with the orange/yellow poll. Purple and pink might look a little close, but probably won't be bad because the pink will probably end up being kinda bright, like in these Palms chips (pic originally posted by fcuk):

I think the pink 5, green 25 and light blue 500 palms chips are absolutely magnificent... I don't know if it's the lighting of the picture but what color is the 100... dark gray or light black? and the 1000?
I don't know how the matsui colors are in real but if we can get the colors to be as nice (combination, brightness...) as those palms, I think that these matsui chips will be very very sweet...

I chose light blue because I have a sample light blue chip from Matsui and it looks awesome.

How would you compare the color of the sample matsui chip you have to the light blue mockups on this thread, are they similar or any differnece?
