Chips: 53 | | | Nice design, but keep in mind that other chips in the past have had problems with gradients and such. I like the Black Sands name, but I'm not yet sold on any particular graphic. |

On the other hand, the size of the graphic on the actual chip would be pretty small, so minor errors in gradient probably wouldn't show up. Hopefully, we'll be able to get a bunch more ideas over the next few days. |

Chips: 11 | | I know that we're nowhere near discussing customs molds yet. There are several other things that must be decided first. But, I just had an epiphany. So I'm gonna mention it before it slips my mind (damned epiphanies) What if instead of palm trees we did the paulson gimmick with casino name and location in the mold? |

Chips: 242 | | | I believe we can now close voting on the name of the casino and move onto voting for the 4 or 5 colors that will be used. Graphics we will save for last. We should also vote on location at this time. |

Chips: 242 | | | I think we should vote for which colors to eliminate, because there is no way we can get an accurate vote if you jsut vote for you favorite color, and voting on color combos will be dificult. I say we vote on which one to elimate from the following: Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Grey. Another way we can do it is have 4 colors that we are defiantley having, such as Pink Blue Green and Yellow, then vote on which one to keep, either Orange Purple or Grey. |

Chips: 6,624 | | | Like almost everyone else, I voted for Black Sands.
One thing though: I have a hard time convincing myself that these will be anywhere close to .50 each. I would think maybe if these were w/o inlays and hot stamped, maybe. But with an inlay?
Any idea when there will be a definitive answer on the pricing? |

Originally, people were talking about having Pink/green/gray for sure, then picking 1 from blue/purple and 1 from orange/yellow, but that might be too limiting? Anyway, everyone let me know what you wanna do.
Regarding pricing and other info from Matsui, they're not easy to get in touch with, but I'll keep trying and let you know as soon as I do. They seem to be hesitant about giving an estimate until they know what the inlay looks like, and Jinny's apparently very busy because he recently moved to Vegas. |

Chips: 275 | | | Well, if Matsui will need an inlay for an estimate, it seems like voting on inlays should happen sooner rather than later. That way, at least the ball is in their court.
And the method you suggested for color voting seems spot-on. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
