Chips: 275 | | | eeeee if you read all 10 pages of the first thread on these in the General Poker Chat youll see that we are doing no edges, bright colors, standard inlay (unless they have giant and we havent heard of it), and no denoms. We may do a custom mold though and the prices arent for sure yet but the estimate is .50 each. |

So standard inlay precludes a shaped inlay?
I'll go read the other thread. |

This buy is aiming at something similar.
For spots, I dare you to do better than the Pharao's. |

I'll go read the other thread. | Heh, don't bother reading the other thread. It's all pretty much summarized up above. Non-edgespot was chosen for cost as well as looks. Murf and some other forum members thought the non-edgespot chips on the NBC heads-up tourney looked cool, so they wanted to do non-edgespots. Also, non-edgespot = 50 cents while edgespots = 80 cents (we think).
Edit: We never really talked about shaped inlays, but shaped black inlays might not look that good (but you never know) and would drive up the price. But we're pretty sure they won't do bigger inlays. |

Not sure about the graphic yet...still partial to the 3 palms...but the turtle is growing on me. | lol, is that what it is? Whatever it is, I like it too. I think I like it better than the 3 palms now actually. |

The small graphic over small text is a "waste of canvas," so to speak -- slick graphics, but very traditional layout. The tres palmas might look even more awesome if it were a little larger with the text superimposed. |

Chips: 88 | | | I voted Black Sands, I like the logo, but i also like the logo of the turtle, not so much that it's a turtle, just a big design behind the writing. |

On the Black Sands I only see a sphere and three wavy lines. On the Tahitian I see what sort of looks like a sea turtle, from above, with front and back legs extended?
Thanks,
