Fdl gb - TOURNAMENT color selection 2

Ok,
I am not sure how to go about this in the poll, so, If this doesn't work..... sorry.

We need to decide on the colors for the chips.

Here were the most popular for the orginal GCR GB....

I will throw some options in a poll.. and see where they take us...

If you don't see anything you like, or a slight change... just post here and we will see what happens.

Any other ideas, suggestions on this topic are welcome.

Also, I would like this to be decided by Thursday evening, so I can call Jim and let him know what needs to be done.

Re: Fdl gb - TOURNAMENT color selection 2

Just want to remind everyone that this is a limited opportunity to get some of the colors that ASM doesn't normally produce unless 1000+ chips per color are ordered. If you are opposed to the W. DG colors, that is fine ... Don't like the retro colors .. no problem. If you could go either way, and you have voted, post below if you are flexible.

If you are on the fence.. throw the vote in..

Poll will be closing tomorrow (Wednesday @ 11:59 PM EST)... unless I am winning the tournament and get home later.

Thank you again everyone.

Mark

Re: Fdl gb - TOURNAMENT color selection 2

I voted OTHER on the 100's. Looking for Chocolate -- USPC Trump style.

As far as GB's go Mark you did a helluva job banging this thing out in a week or so. Considering we had to start from scratch with inlays, now colors and denoms. And I think everyone whos still in voting has been great as far as compromise and understanding. So I hope people stick with the GB and get some sets. I think we're putting together a good looking chipset so far thanks to Mark (and Felt keeping posts updated).

And all we have to do is muster up ~3700 more chips to make the order happen...
(yeah, I am in for about 1300 myself... about 1/4 of the min order.)

Don't think that will be too hard to accomplish

GROUP BUY UPDATE:

Krafticus has confirmed with Jim at ASM that overlapping denoms (example: the $25 in the cash set and the T25 in the Tourney set) can be on different color chips!

Recognize!

Just a thought I had on this about number of chips - not sure if it would help or not but once we get to the "order phase" maybe posting a link to the GB at homepokertourney.com will help to increase the amount of chips ordered.....if someone is needed to post over there I guess I could do it once the ordering/paying thread is started here....PM me if you would like me to help out with posting a thread link at HPT.

Re: Fdl gb - TOURNAMENT color selection 2

For those folks who have voted "OTHER", can you please post what your other color would be please?

For example, the "OTHER" category is in the lead for the NCV chip, but I have no way of know what the colors are.

Sorry, the poll only allows 24 MAX options. I would have like to have an open poll, where I put the color and you choose the color for it. Again, time is of the essence. If I don't hear back, I will go with the majority.

Again, this will be closing Thursday @ midnight EST (give or take an hour or so).

Also, just an FYI ... this is where we stand right now (although the 5000 chip is tied between light blue and light choc) -- also note, light chocolate is not represented in the chip factory.

Re: Fdl gb - TOURNAMENT color selection 2

Looks like the 5000 has been resolved with Light Blue pulling into the lead.

However the 500 is now in contention.

clifforis, dano, roxtarbaer and
beaudevil

These four folks voted for 500 colors other than the Lavenders. I don't imagine that the 14 folks who voted for lavenders are going to switch sides. So Instead of holding another poll, it may be more expedient to simply have you four folks recast your votes by posting in this thread which lavender that you prefer.

Weighted Lavender or unweighted Retro Lavender?

Hey Mark,

I would like the chocolate color as the NCV.

Thanks,

Pete
