Re: DG-Blue for July! Poll #2: Need Estimate...

The DG blue for the July special is what started this whole thing (for inlayed HG / A solids)
Cant see any reason (and I pretty much assumed) the DGB can be used for other orders (ie with spots) at reg price.
Heck, the clay will be there to use.

I'm sure July orders that fall under the terms of the special will be given priority.
Jim wanted a fast and simple deal fo July.

I dont know how clay much they will make for this.
But any lurkers out there may as well state here if they plan on usseing DG blue in orders upcoming (July) so PCOL deosnt get slammed and backed up due to underestimating this.

Thanks.

I'm good for 200 instead of my previously stated 100

Re: DG-Blue for July! Poll #2: Need Estimate...

So I got an email confirmation from Cathy that my order for 200 half pie DG blue/Blue has been approved - she was initially worried that there would not be enough contrast between the two blues and needed to confirm with the production manager.

Anyone else order their DG blue chips yet?

I'm moving slow, but I'll be in there.
Perhaps work it out this weekend.

They havnt gotten the clay worked out yet i'm assuming because i got my proofs and sandy confirmed that she isnt sure of what DG blue looks like yet so she is just taking a guess at the color.

Re: DG-Blue for July! Poll #2: Need Estimate...

It's all part of the fun.
A little gamble and a surprise ending I'm sure.

For now, I'm just using lt-green from the chip factory in my mockups.

Light Turquoise in the TRK colors tab is pretty close to DG Blue (non-weighted). Today Cathy said Jim is still working on a sample chip of the new color.
