jimb is offering us a fantastic discount forJuly (LINK)

There has been past and now present talk of asking for light blue and / or day-glo blue in the next group buy.

Rumor has it we need 1000 of either to justify that color batch of clay being made.

So, if you would like to add inlayed SOLID Hourglass or SOLID A-mold to your existing sets or make a new set with these colors please stand up and be counted.
Multiple choice in each catagory. You may pick one in either one or both colors.
Poll ends in 10 days.


This is simply a poll to show jimb what to expect IF (again--IF) he agrees to do this for us.
I'm not even aware if he knows we are thinking about asking for this.

To sum it up: Jim said Dayglo Blue could be done with a 1000 chip commitment, acording to JM. JimB did not offer Light Blue.

It would be nice because it's such a cool color, but Light Blue might not be an option at this time. (Still, it doesn't hurt to ask )

I thought it was just Light Blue. I've never heard of DG Blue or seen a sample.

me too, but it was brought up so I threw it in

it is on the sample pic in the other thread, but doesnt look blue to me
so I figurewe need a better shot.

keep in mind too that DG do not have the metal flakes and are lighter in weight and more fragile

I have a light blue sample with flakes, looks like the one above. I might be in for 200, but will make a decision a little later.

Dayglo Blue is barely blue. It is closer to seafoam green. I think the name "dayglo blue" is used only to differentiate it from Dayglo Green, not as a testament to its "blueness." It's a unique color that looks like a mix of both green and blue.


For reference, the first chip is Gray, the Rincon is Light Blue, Mizpah is Dayglo Blue with Arc Yellow and Black spots, Santa Fe is Imperial Blue, and the M&J $1 is regular ASM Blue.

hmm kinda like that 50's leaded green paint I see on so many old walls
but looks better as a chip though,
but sure not blue to the un-color blind.

Ugh......that D.G. Blue (if that is it) does look very green.

I put 100 D.G. Blue in poll but if that is it, then LT Blue it is for me.

I selcted DG Blue in the poll by accident, but would much rather change to LT Blue aswell after seeing the last comparisons.
