I trust it was for a reason. I do not intend to question or haggle.

If that response is aimed at me, that sucks.
I don't doubt Jim has his reasons for using brass flakes. But this thread and the previous 3 threads discussing DG Blue have not mentioned brass flakes before now, so this is a new discussion, yes? The Avalon GB was before my time, so actually, no, I don't recall. I looked it up, though, and the weighted DG Pink indeed looks darker than regular DG Pink. It's true I can't tell a difference between weighted/non-weighted DG Green.
"I do not intend to question or haggle." Why not? We're not getting freebies here; this is still a business deal. A generous, special-offer business deal that I gratefully appreciate. But the deal has changed, hasn't it? My question involves how much this change affects the finished product, that's all. That's why I'm asking for more explanation or a sample pic.
I committed to buying 300 DG Blue chips. At the time, I only knew DG Blue chips to be available as non-weighted chips. These chips are now being offered as weighted chips. So the terms of the commitment have changed. Thus, there are new terms to commit to. Before doing so, I'd like a greater level of information. Is that unreasonable? IMO, it is not "wise to accept with good grace what has been offered" without adequate information about what is now being offered. All I'm asking for is information.
If anyone checks my posts they'll know I'm a staunch defender and cheerleader for ASM. IMO, they're the nuts. If anyone looks at my ASM orders they'll know I put my money where my mouth is. But I don't want any hurt feelings on Jim's part, anyone else committed to this GB, if I have to back out. I have valid reasons for doing so if the terms are changed beyond tolerable levels. And for the record, if weighted DG Blue chips have the same color as non-weighted DG Blue chips--then there's no problem. I'm in! But it is NOT unreasonable to ask for more information or clarification of new terms before forking over hard-earned $$$.
If I ordered a coupe, and the dealer said "I ordered you a convertible instead." Would it be wise to accept with good grace what is offered? Wouldn't I have the right to change my mind or at the very least ask questions without being deemed ungrateful?
