Would the toppers fit in the Priority Mail triangular mailer? Or put 2 of them together and tape it up? If you used the Priority Mail boxes, they are free and no need to purchase them. On the downside, the cost for the weight may be more for Priority Mail than it is with UPS Ground or FedEx Ground.
Oddly enough, the 36"x8"x8" boxes cost less than the 36"x4"x4" boxes. But given that most folks will buy only one pad, I may need to go exchange the bulk to the 8" boxes I bought. Unless it turns out not to be a problem to ship the toppers flopping around inside (they are in plastic bags too).

I looked into the triangle mailers. They have a 38" one that would be perfect... problem is that it's not flat rate and this box with one topper comes in at 6 lbs. That brings the prio mail mailer higher cost than DHL.
