Rounders "Spoof" ASM - High-denom Colours

Time to pick the high-denoms!

The non-denom "Oreo" coloured (chocolate w/ white) non-denom chip seems to be an overwhelming favourite, so no need to vote there. And I'm a big fan of the "pink w/ black", so unless someone can show me something decidedly better, I'll stick with it for the highest denom.

As for the other one (most likely a "2000¢" = $20 chip), I've narrowed it to just 2 that I've liked so far - and that have had some positive feedback.

1) Yellow w/ Blue

2) Grey w/ Imperial Blue

3) Yellow/Blue for 2,000c; Grey/Imp.Blue for 10,000c. No pink chip.

4) Yellow/Blue for 2,000c; Grey/Black for 10,000c. No pink chip.

5) Yellow/Blue for 2,000c; Imperial-blue/Black for 10,000c. No poll option; just indicate this preference in a post.

And you're more than welcome to propose other colour schemes as a "write-in vote". Personally, I'd like to see something with blue in it, just because the rest of the Rounders set is noticeably deprived of blue. But it's not a firm requirement. See the original GB thread for discussion and other high-denom colours I've proposed.

The "Choose Your Donkey" poll might need a re-count... If you haven't already done so, please go there and vote. In any case, I might need to narrow the choices to a compromise between the similar photo-quality "greyscale" and "sepia", versus "ink sketch".

And before someone asks, yes, all the inlays will have the same donkey graphic. I've just shown the "sepia" and "ink sketch" since they're among the leaders in the "choose your donkey" poll.

Looking for one more contender... any suggestions? Any votes? (0 so far; hopefully everyone's waiting for the ballot to fill out)

4th option added (for those who haven't voted in the poll). Here's another idea (just reply if you like this one best):

5) Yellow/Blue for 2,000c; Imperial-Blue/Black for 10,000c

In order, my ideas for 500, 2k and 10k. Disregard the inlay, I just used what was in the chip factory

Bing bada bump.

Please vote if you haven't already, and if you voted before a "better option" was added and wish to change your vote, please indicate such in a post. I'll take the "final tally" on Monday morning (June 18, 2007).

Perhaps we should just go with two nearly identical orange chips for the high denominations...

Re: Rounders "Spoof" ASM - High-denom Colours

There's a new "ink sketch" donkey that zib made - looks a lot like the Rounders bear! You can see it in the main group buy discussion thread:
http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/group-...group-buy.html
I'll try to order "prototypes" of some of the proposed high-denom colours, with the leading donkey graphics (including the new one mentioned above) so I can see how they actually turn out. I'll share a scan with all of you, and then make the final decisions...
