in my opinion, this chips definitely have to be clay.
They have been clay in the movie and they are using a design that really fits best for a clay chip! |

Chips: 225 | | | Re: Should the rounders tribute chips be ceramic or clay Either way, I would be in...I think that the design could look sweet on a ceramic chip, not to mention the cost is a lot better for the ceramic. I feel like if it can't go on ASM's Roman mold clay chip, then it does not really matter whether it goes on clay or ceramic.
Also, since I like the look of the roman mold and the colors of the chips and edgespots, it would make sense to put it on a ceramic because all of that can be replicated...unless of course they could go on the original ASM Roman mold, which I'm pretty sure is a no go! |

Chips: 19,370 | | | Re: Should the rounders tribute chips be ceramic or clay So far we have 15 votes for clay, 3 for any chip, and 1 for ceramic. From the discusion thread I will be contacting ASM tomorrow to find out about replicating the chips on the H mold. I will report on what they tell me.
The good new is that we no Joe will make the chips if the desire is there regardless of what ASM says |

Chips: 1,000 | | | Re: Should the rounders tribute chips be ceramic or clay I voted Clay, because I think such a design just belongs to a clay chip. A ceramic won't have that feeling. |

I posted that during all the melee that was going on and prior to seeing your change in policy. IMO though I am not sure how making them in ceramic would violate any copyrights since I don't think they own the graphics (wasn't it clip art). Obviously whatever you say is ok to do we will go with if the ceramic option is the route that s chosen
