Chips: 4,615 | | | The Sin City Showdown Inlay Poll and Debate. Now that the Sin City Showdown inlay has been determined. We need to come up with the size of the inlay.
Let's have some spirited discussion here.
The standard inlay is out. It is not possible with all the activity and minimums required by GPI to produce.
So what will it be?
Grand or Giant?

I am officially an enemy of the Giant inlay. Ok, maybe that's a bit strong. Everyone drools over the Paulson edge spots and you want to cover them up? Oh, sure there is a nifty effect that can be achieved but it renders the best aspects of many of the most interesting spots useless. I know that there will probably be some folks who like Giant just because it's rarer but that doesn't make it better. In my mind it's like having a very fine car and plastering something all over it so you can't see the vehicle underneath. Besides a good inlay will bring its own attention. The horse on the hood of a Ferrari is very small comparitively but everyone sure notices it.
Show that clay baby.
BTW it's seems weird that they can do Grand and not Standard in this case, not that I care both Grand and Standard are fine acceptable sized inlays, just seems strange is all. |

If we go smaller with the font it will blur and loose it's presentation. Not something we want to deal with.
Everything would need to be compacted as well. The denom would be smaller, and it's already small.

BTW when do we get a peek at these marevelous cheques? |

Also, I think that with all of the inlays being very similar, it would be more functional to be able to see more of the clay from the top. Just my .02 |

standard = thong
grand = bikini
giant = 1 piece swimsuit |

Chips: 6,014 | | | Re: The Sin City Showdown Inlay Poll and Debate. No question. It has to be Grand. The inlays are too similar to use Giant because the chips will be much harder to distinguish in the pot.
I would be fine with Standard, but the design is to cool to shrink it.

BTW when do we get a peek at these marevelous cheques? | I'm not really sure. My contact has said to leave him alone till Jan... . At the beginning of the year they'll know more and we can get more planned. Thats why I want this all to be done now. I will only do one order, And i'm not sure when we'll see them.
I'm on the fence. We need to sell at least 20k of these to get the event the way we want it. 25K and we would get a really nice prize pool and some extra perks.
I want to allow everyone to be able to place an order, but I want to leave plenty of time to re-order in case something is wrong.
