Diamond Falls 5000 plaque

which of these do you like best for this idea of a plaque. they are all rough drafts, just trying to see where we're leaning here. most seem to prefer a more simple design like these for this set, saying that it matches the other denoms better. a white base with a "diamond face" edge design, or a bit of color to the base? or, do you want to see a more detailed design, like a pic of a waterfall in the background or such.

Just had to let you know that this project is coming along nicely. Chip & Plaque Mock ups look great, nice work.

Re: Diamond Falls 5000 plaque

I like the face of #1 but the color and edge spots of #2. If the chips are going to be nice BRIGHT COLORS then the plaque should follow suite IMHO. If the chips were not to be bright colors then I would agree that #1 is for sure the way to go. Either way the plaques look awesome.

whataboutj is right on IMO -- I love those bright colors on the chips and the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the plaque was that the color was bit muted -- totally awesome plaque for sure, but IF I had my pick, I'd notch that baby way up. Also, having a bunch of Pharaohs in similiar denominations, I find at times I could really use some plaques in higher denominations as well. So in all your spare time Stank, maybe you could mock up a 25K plaque? I'd be into that as well. As always, thanks for all the work!

Re: Diamond Falls 5000 plaque

while i like plaques, i've been hesitant to buy them because of cost, size, etc. may have to get them this time though.

suggestions-
Color diamond and text like the chips (don't have it be white)
Same denomination font as on chips
I like the idea of non-white edges (to tie in with chips)

That being said, it might be nice to have the graphics on the plaques be somewhat different from the chips. How about some form of a "collection" of diamonds?

my irst idea was actually a little different. it waswith the plaque turned the other way and 3 large diamonds in the middle, one stacked on top of the other two like a pyramid. havent mocked it up though.
