Ladies and Gentlemen!
Please note, this is not the thread to get a specific time nailed down. I just want to know if you would like to go during the middle of the week where its cheaper, or if you would like to go on the weekend.
Arguments for the weekend.
Pro:
Better time to get away from work. I can make a long weekend out of this.
Con:
Everything is MUCH more expensive. Hotels, flights, cars...
Arguements for the weekday.
Pro:
Cheaper and less crowded.
Cons:
It will get in the way of your schedule.
You'd have to use vacation days.
Please add your arguments as well.

I vote for during the week.
I'm sorry I couldn't make the first event and I intend to try and schedule my yearly trip with this event (once it is confirmed) so I don't miss this one. I normally plan my Vegas trip to arrive Sunday and leave Friday to avoid the high weekend prices.

Not a big deal as long as we don't schedule it in the middle of the week. Personally, I'd like to see something schedule for like a Monday/Tuesday so folks could fly in the weekend and do their thing and then have our festivities like a mixer on Sunday evening followed by the games on Monday and return on Tuesday. If you want to make it a long weekend, go for it. If not, just come in Sunday. Personally, I'm not big on the WSOP timing. |

I certainly prefer weekends, although a Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon event would be okay too, which might help a little with the cost. But honestly, I would probably come any time, even if it were during the week - even though I voted weekend.
Much more pertinent to me (and what I expected the poll to be about) is the MONTH when it will take place. |

Scheduling for WSOP time may be hard to get rooms or not as good a rate...not that it matters. I'm going in June or July, so make it then. Ok, that's settled, what's next?
