Avalon GB Potential

Hi all,

As you may remember, this design was runner-up to the eventual Protege winner, and got many votes throughout the preliminary rounds. Sidepot has just released the design rights back to me, and I'm gauging interest in a potential GB.

My ultimate goal would be to get these produced through ASM on the FDL mold. While not currently available, Jim has mentioned in other threads that it may be released in 2007. There is quite a backlog of orders from the most recent edgespot groupbuys at ASM and trying to get anything ccomplished now would be moot. Most of the spot options you see in the mockup are also not available, so for the sake of argument, I've added a poll to see if there would be interest in getting this inlay design done on edgespot matched ceramics.

Since I'm only generating interest, I don't have any specific details regarding numbers, so for the time being, don't ask!

Thanks for your interest, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask either in this thread, or via PM.

Matthew/imthatguy

Re: Avalon GB Potential

You are missing an option:

I don't care if Ceramic or Clay, I want these!

Beautiful design, Matthew and I think the FDL mold would be perfect.

Re: Avalon GB Potential

Why don't we use it on some grand inlay Blue Chip Clays now that they will do that?

Re: Avalon GB Potential

I would be interested in clays on the fleur de lys mold. Not really into ceramics sorry.

Re: Avalon GB Potential

Although I'm not going to buy any, I think clay is the way to go. For one, I generally prefer clay chips... but it has to do with the design. It's just not a ceramic design... If looks great on the FDL mold, too!

Re: Avalon GB Potential

do you really think it's necessary to include an option for 'not interested', wouldn't all the people who didn't vote be in that category?

there's my remark for the day.
