I think that having 8 horseshoes makes the 5K chip look to busy, but I'll put it up for a vote  |

I think 8 is better. Not necessarily how I would do it if it were a single chip, but for an entire set I think it is better to be consistent.

If these were real clay, there would be eight horseshoes. Of course, if they were clay, the horseshoes wouldn't fall perfectly in between the edge spots.
I can't imagine anyone ever noticing the missing stamps on the physical chips. Four shoes definitely looks better. |

for the sole purpose of being difficult, one could suggest you remove the shoes entirely and that could also sustain a consistent theme. |

4 looks better than 8. I'm assuming the printed-on horseshoes are supposed to mimick what would be a mold imprint on the original clay chips? If so, I'm not sure they need to be on any of the chips... Would be like printing the top hat and cane "mold" on a ceramic...something seems wrong with this.
But all that said, these chips look great w/ or w/out horseshoes (and I probably don't know what I'm talking about...) |
